Welcome to Castlegate Church! We have a real heart for the local community in which we are planted, and have a passion that people come to know the fullness of life in Jesus Christ. We're on Mission in the Great Commission! Matthew 28:16-20.
Our vision is to become firmly established in the community and offer support to those in need. Our Story so far...
Pastor Craig along with wife Emma and their family planted Castlegate Church with a small group of believers in January 2016. Their prayers, to fulfil the great commission.
Matthew 28:19-20 from the New King Version (NKJV):
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
Shortly after in November 2016, Castlegate Church Dudley, moved to it's new home at 6 Birdcage Walk, Dudley DY2 7AE.
The church grew and with that so did the building. In 2018 we expanded the site with 6 Birdcage Walk which later in September 2019 we knocked through the walls between them making the site we now know as Castlegate Church Dudley. During this time we also adopted Refresh Foodbank which since has grown to be the busiest food bank in the Black Country.
As Castlegate Church Dudley became more established we felt the call of God to plant more churches in the area. In turn we planted Castlegate Church Great Bridge, shortly followed by Castlegate Church Wednesbury.
Jumping ahead to the present day, we're actively engaged in both local and international mission work. Even more exciting, we're in the process of creating a mission center designed to empower and train individuals in ministry and mission.
As a church, we're constantly attuned to God's direction for us. And the thrilling part? We're right in the middle of His plans, eagerly anticipating the abundance He has in store.
